The cartoon shows all of the 2012 candidates in the boxing ring fighting for the title, or more like the Republicans fight and Obama just chilling on the side. Notice Ron Paul and Rick Santorum are much smaller then Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney because at the time Gingrich and Romney were doing most of the fighting against each other. Obviously this cartoon was back before Obama was really in the quarrel and McCain and Palin already gone. For a while, President Obama was just sitting back and watching the Republican candidates getting rid of each other for him.

Now of course is a different situation where we're starting to hear more about Obama and there are also more attacks on Obama from the Republican candidates.
